  3. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU, THE END 
  4. USER (EITHER AN INDIVIDUAL OR AN ENTITY), AND 
  5. MICROSOFT CORPORATION. BY EXERCISING THE RIGHTS 
  6. GRANTED HEREIN, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY 
  7. THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE 
  8. TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MUST 
  9. PROMPTLY DESTROY ALL COPIES IN YOUR POSSESSION.

  11. Microsoft grants you a license to install the 
  12. Microsoft Word 5.1a Patch for every licensed copy of Microsoft Word 
  13. that you have, provided that you agree to be bound by the terms of 
  14. this License and Warranty Disclaimer. You may make additional 
  15. copies of the Patcher for backup or archival purposes. You may allow 
  16. others who are properly licensed for Microsoft Word version 5.1 for 
  17. the Macintosh to each copy the Patcher, provided they 
  18. agree to be bound by the terms of this License and Warranty 
  19. Disclaimer.

  21. Because the Patcher is being provided at no additional charge, the 
  22. Patcher is provided “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, 
  23. INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND 
  24. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEITHER MICROSOFT NOR 
  25. ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER 
  26. ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS MICROSOFT 
  27. PRODUCT, EVEN IF MICROSOFT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE 
  28. POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because some states/countries 
  29. do not allow the limitation of implied warranties and/or the 
  30. exclusion of liability for consequential or incidental damages, 
  31. the above limitations may not apply to you.

  34. documentation are provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, 
  35. duplication, or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions 
  36. as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data 
  37. and Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or 
  38. subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software—
  39. Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable. Manufacturer is
